Artist's Comments
After many many many versions. A lot of hair pulling and sleepless evenings here is my final piece.
My first attempt felt emotionless and flat. This piece represents salvation,triumpth of good over evil.. Wanted to go for something quite iconic and dark, almost old painting like. The pice is mixed media, 3d, 2d, once it was completed, it was printed out, then a lot of pieces were painted onto tracing paper, scanned in and merged back onto the original bit. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
